Achievement unlocked
On April 22nd, 2023, Evolution demonstrated their vehicle capabilities with the successful launch of the Gold Chain Cowboy (GCC) test mission. The 21.5 ft long, 10" diameter demonstration vehicle powered by Evolution's proprietary solid propulsion system achieved a peak altitude of 124.5 km and a velocity of Mach 5.2. By surpassing the Kármán line, Evolution became the ninth privately funded US company to reach space.

Solid Powered Sounding Rockets
Our most vertically integrated product is our launch vehicles - whether it's hypersonic testing, tactical, sounding rocket research, or commercial. Our pathfinder vehicle, Gold Chain Cowboy, made us just the 9th privately-funded US company to put our own vehicle in space, and only the second to do it with a solid propulsion system.
